Making a Plan Together

Green Matters wants to start conversations with our community, to learn more about what we all need and to explore ways to collaborate.

We empathize with the people and businesses affected by COVID-19.

We want to connect with the independent designers and small businesses that are having trouble knowing what to expect. Fashion an textile companies in New York City have been hit especially hard, while other parts of the country are experiencing something similar or are fast catching up.

We are here to support the brands in our community, and by starting this conversation we hope to brainstorm ways to preserve the hard work that you have invested into slow and environmentally-friendly fashion.

We’re asking:

  1. What do you need right now?

  2. What changes can you make now so that your brand is producing and selling new products in 12 months?

  3. How much money do you have wrapped up in inventory that you can’t sell either because it is damaged or because the colorway/style wasn’t popular?

  4. How can you shrink your business or services to be more cost effective?

  5. What challenges are you having planning for future collections/products during an uncertain time?

Please reach out to winona@greenmattersdye.com to chat with me about how we can help you. We are going to be expanding our services beyond dyeing in the coming weeks to help brands weather this storm.
